Animal

Tiger

My ears fill with the mighty roar
I watch the. beautiful sight before my eyes
Slowly, my soul begins to soar
Alongside, the tiger flies

We glide through the grass
Stalk our prey
The world around us shatters like glass
For our hunger its death will pay

Every movement made pulses through me
Every muscle in its body is pulled
I see the kill as the prey attempts to flee
And taste the blood as the animal is mauled

The tiger's hunger dies like the light
He strides and chuffs into the the dark
My soul returns from it's dangerous flight
I leave with nothing but the tiger's mark.
