A fatal attraction

Post by Alice Lily »

Is it possible
I used to ask myself
But finally I have the answer
I think,

We smile and laugh
You keep me company
You listen to me
All of that...

I thought all of that
Would keep me happy
But alas,
The bitter truth

But that's beauty in the lies
That's what I chose
But now,
I choose emptiness

I thought we would be happy
That we would be there for each other
Nothing tearing us apart
But in reality everything is the opposite

So how will I look you in the face?
How will everything go back to normal?
That one chance I got
Got blown away

Away it flew with the wings of time
So alone I remain with myself
Back to the corner
And sober I shall remain

Not intoxicated by your scent
Nor your presence
Not even your voice
None of all those that I used to get lost in
