Each and every line spoke to me. This is something that I practice in my daily life. It took me a long time to learn to "pick my battles" and once I did, life became a little easier.

The last bit got me choked up. Personally, I am going back to school now in my 40s. I spent many years battling and recovering with my health. I never asked for it. I felt the balances were rigged against me. I have been in the clear for a while and decided to make the most of what I do have left. This resounded with me deeply. Well collected, and worded. Straight and to the point. Two thumbs up!

Very thought-provoking poem. Just imagine if this was required reading in our schools instead of some of the other things that are pushed on youth these days.

This level of inspiration is on a different level, and it would be life changing for those who understand the message... personally I'd say to be stoically strong but not painless, now that's something to go home with.

These poems are really inspiring, they're like lessons or paths to follow. I love the last part, "To turn your life around before it's too late and there is nothing left to turn around," the most because people tend to realise what they need to change too late.

I love how beautiful this is written, it is almost as if I am right there next to the poet looking at all the things they are describing.

If more of us could apply this to our lives we would see more peace around. Beautiful art work there!

In order to be something we should not get into the negative aspects of the things . This poem speaks everything about the wrong things we encounter when we want to be something.
Nice and thoughtful. Would like to read more.

Such a fantastic poem. "to be confident but not arrogant", "To set boundaries without crossing boundaries". I learnt a lot about life in this poem.
