Can we start over?

Saw a rainbow in the sky today
Drew you in every shade
Trying to hold on to memories
Making sure our love doesn’t fade

Made a scrapbook
Gathering pictures from all around
The trips we took, the smiles we shared
Everything was there, only our love couldn’t be found

Celebrated our anniversary
Even baked a cake
Lit the candles, made a wish
But that incomplete feeling I still couldn’t shake

When did we get so disconnected
I’m trying to hold on
Do you miss what we had ?
Or will you, when I’ll be gone ?

Then I saw your work ,
Oh man your art !
I thought I was trying to fix us
But You were there all along waiting for me at the start
