On the day I bid farewell,
No mourners' tears, no tolling knell,
No sorrow on this face to dwell,
Embracing silence, empty shell.
I'll cast off burdens, sins unchained,
Release the past, no longer pained,
Whispers will spread, my name retained,
A legacy born, not lived in vain.
From someone known to no one seen,
Through boundless skies, my soul shall glean,
No regret for those who've never been,
For in my solitude, I'll find serene.
