Icon Unseen Love: A Father's Legacy Embraced

Post by Mamtungwa Mtungwa »

In shadows cast by absence, my heart weeps,
A lament for the father I never could meet.
Born into a world where joy should unfold,
Yet robbed of his presence, his stories untold.

As I gaze upon others with their fathers so near,
A pang of longing cuts, so sharp and severe.
Their laughter resounds, and my soul trembles deep,
For in their warm embrace, my yearning does seep.

Oh, how I ache to witness the bond they share,
To feel his loving guidance, his tender care.
To partake in adventures, father and child,
Yet destiny chose a path that left me beguiled.

In solitude's embrace, I often find solace,
But a father's absence, no love can replace.
Unanswered questions, unspoken words unsaid,
Haunt my thoughts, a chorus of longing spread.

Through cherished memories, others embrace,
I navigate this world, seeking my own space.
In dreams and reflections, his spirit resides,
An ethereal presence where my heart abides.

For though his time here was cut short, it's true,
His love transcends realms, forever anew.
He watches over, an unseen guardian above,
Guiding my steps with a father's eternal love.

And so, I carry his legacy within my core,
A reminder of a bond that death can't ignore.
Though the pain persists, I find strength to rise,
To honor his memory, beneath sorrowful skies.

In every sunrise, a glimmer of his grace,
In every heartbeat, his love I embrace.
Though others may have fathers by their side,
I hold his spirit close, with unwavering pride.

So, as I see others with their fathers' embrace,
I'll cherish the memories, the warmth I'll retrace.
For though I missed the moments, it's bittersweet,
His love endures, in my heart's sacred seat.
