Holding on.

Post by Neha23_yadav »

Yesterday when it rained, I noticed raindrops were clinging hard to the wire, in the yard.

I wondered, why are these drops trying so hard?
Maybe they were trying to hold on to their individuality by holding onto the wire: which is actually holding on to themselves.

Only if they could talk, I would have asked them,"what it really takes to hold on this hard? Holding on hurts, right?"

I can see the wrenching tension on their surfaces, creation wasn't very supportive either.

Suddenly, I realized what would happen if they all will be allowed to free fall‽
Perhaps, the fear of losing individuality will vanish, since each one is falling.
And least of All, each drop will be having the other drop by their side, who was also trying so hard to hold on, someone just like them.

It wasn't even past 15 minutes, I was pondering there, the rain striked again.
Now, I couldn't see a single drop fighting hard to hold on.
I guess each one was awarded a free fall, I sighed.
