Longing

Here we stand a group united, looking toward the light.
Wishing we could be at home this bright and starry night.
If ever we could just go home for even just a while, then we could come back here to stay, and do it with a smile.
The time it stretches endlessly,
Oh must we wait so long? The journeys almost ended now, our hearts are raised in song.
The change is coming quickly,
It spreads across the land,
That we may all prepare ourselves, alignment is at hand.
So gather all the children,
And get yourselves away,
So when you wake tomorrow,
You’ll see the light of day.
