The other Mothers don’t trust her
Home wrecker they know
The other Dads don’t trust him
His daughters' future stolen for an earring in a bed
Easily and happily led
There is a dinner party circuit but they’re not invited
Outside they have to dine together, alone
At home
Where his kids don’t come because he let them be replaced by hers
Where her kids live with the middling child they share, all other daughters jealous and aware
that really, that’s the one they care for most.
Not much in common in the end, except one ever nagging ex-boyfriend of a ghost.
