More to life

Post by Julie Dustman »

:techie-studyingbrown: More than what we see
Time flies by so fast
That we don't even see
What is right in front of our feet
There are signs of hope
And lessons to learn
That will help us remember that life is much more
But we forget to sit still and slow down our minds
So we can pick up all the things that we left behind
Not to overwhelm us but to help us find ourself
In this fast world we live in
Don't forget the purpose for it all
Slow down and pay attention
There is so much more to learn.

The disappearance of the word "I am" is indeed the highest happiness! :)

Great lessons, Julie. Society encourages us to work fast, move fast, and fill our schedules so much. We are always looking ahead at the next milestone without enjoying what we already have.

We really need to stop, take a breath and be grateful! There are signs everywhere if we only pay attention to them.
