Grief.... is this what it is? The empty feeling, the hollow space within your chest, is this all that it amounts to? Your laughter, smile, words, hugs now just a memory a very vague one at that. Losing every piece of you slowly from the way you talk to your beautiful scent. Grief.... would I ever overcome your grip? Would I be set free from the bondage of your comfort? Would it all make sense in the long run? Would I forget your cold embrace on the hottest nights? Or would I lose all sensations in my heart and soul so you could occupy this empty space? Grief... should I understand you and justify your reasons? Or should I become one with the pain that it becomes my routine? Grief.... it's time to let go, but I hope I don't become a tale soon forgotten.
