Of those they love and left to fight on their own with no gloves
Where there is no love
Just hate and mean mugs

No food to eat cause your mom is smoking on a crack pipe
All she do is scream cause you don’t act right
On your way to school is the only time you see the sunlight

Shoes hurting your toes
She spent her money on coke
What goes on at home stays at home is what I was told
People come around she tries to put on a show
She don’t want people to know
How unhealthy it is at home
Going with the flow
But she don’t really love me though

Where men are sleeping with kids
Parents are leaving them with their friends
While their out partying, not knowing what’s going on on the other end
Their drinking and sleeping with different men
And somebody’s in the house touching them
And their holding it in
Now they need trauma counseling

When people look you dead in your eyes and lie
Where they don’t care about your tears our outcry
But thrive off your fears and what keeps you on a down slide
They don’t want to see you rise

Where people don’t care about innocent lives
