Icon Summer Heat

Post by LuvBooks »

Summer sun was hot that day
The horse was unruly not wanting to be shod
The attraction between she and he sizzled
The touch of her hand to his hot skin, oh my god

They felt it from the moment they met
Kept ignoring it, burying it, trying to let it go
Today you could hear it, electrical, hissing, crackling.........
His taut brown skin, too hot for a shirt, vulnerable
No resistance left

The touch although only seconds long
Sent a current through him, a burst of heat that touched him deeply
The horse, she felt it too and used it, breaking free from his hold on her
All hell broke loose, yet time stood still
In that one moment they knew-and nothing would hold them back
