Which Way to Go?

Post by GingerBookWork »

Which way to go?
A question that has more than one meaning
and not only one right answer.
Some choices are easy.
Some, stay with you forever.
The path I take today won’t change me.
But what about the other paths I’ve taken,
The one that you had to take?
You made a promise,
A promise you couldn’t keep.
I let you go,
Like you let me go.
Because, as hard as it is to let go,
It’s harder to hold on.

A poem about choices and fateful decisions.

Because, as hard as it is to let go,
It’s harder to hold on.

How often these words apply to the human condition, and in so many different contexts.

Nicely done!
“I just got out of the hospital. I was in a speed reading accident. I hit a book mark and flew across the room.”
