Relativity
If that's the case it explains why I'm trapped by my own skin.
What if our consciousness was just a projection of reality?
That would mean that I'm trapped by my own mind.
Perhaps I just need to wake up, or go to sleep.
I just want to go to sleep!
Defeat is so easy when you don't even know you're fighting, and I've been fighting nothing for a long time.
Nothing can't die and it certainly can't bleed
I can bleed for it
the best I can hope for is that nothing will slink away into the shadows with a melancholy hiss
but what if I'm already in the darkness?
where can nothing slink to?
maybe it's me who has to do the slinking,
back into cold sunlight, a snake in the winter
