Post by Trina Higgs »

A life of hustle and bustle
A life like any others, full of sorrow
A life full of joy and happiness
A life of trials

A talent unseen by others
A song in my soul,
Ringing from the depths

Family
Friendship
All that matters in this world

A garden growing and dying
The spring of something new

The life of others
The ones closest to my heart
This is my life

I wrote this poem years ago. It reminded me of how time really does change things. What does it make you think of?

Time heals everything. At least bluns the pain of loss. The poem is sensual.

Completely true. Thank you for letting me know what you think. I was surprised that you thought the poem is sensual; never had that thought about it before.

Kind of makes me think of what it means to be human. All the complexities of life, but at the end of it relationships matter. I think there's something deep inside all of us: the desire to be known and accepted.
This poem is a brief but deep outline of the nature of life... to me :) thanks for sharing it.
