Afflictions

Post by Ana85 »

When will my afflictions die, or give it a f****g rest?

I'm the black shadow surrounded by light,
everyone knows that I'm too weak to fight.

Always lost on a boy, not even a man,
always doing what's bad, just knowing I can.

Why doesn't real love and peace win?
Instead I stay wrapped up, not repenting my sin.

I've nothing to show for these 31 years,
not a home, not a family, not even a career.

I behave like a child, having no shame,
I dont know how to act grown,
always playing dumb games.

I'm hurt, I'm broke, I'm pissed,
I'm sore,
I'm scarred and fear that I cant be restored.

Interesting, but that shows that the person you are talking about has both good and bad qualities. Such is life. I loved I'm the black shadow surrounded by light. Ana85, please add more parts to this piece because the descriptions are really captivating and food for thought.
