If I were...

Post by Aliciaroseperry1992 »

If I were as smart as you
I would read every single book
I would analyze the words
I would consider how long the writing took

But I am only me

If I were as beautiful as you
I would stare in the mirror every day
I would look at the curves of my body
I would be happy they are there to stay

But I am only me

If I were as outspoken as you
I would share my opinion to anyone that would hear it
I would paint a picture for the masses
I would never think to fear it

But I am only me

If you were as weak as me
You would crave what it's like to be strong
You would never try anything first
Afraid it would turn out wrong

But you are you-
Wild, intense and free
So tell me how on Earth you can say
You see the same in me

Wow! The poem is just wow. I loved it so much. It is what I think. I mean that you put my thoughts into your words.
