I FOUND YOU

Post by Abigail09 »

I have been down this path severally.
I have wanted to feel love and feel loved.
Just like ‘The flu’,
I have felt what it means to be ‘on top of the world’.
I have seen change and how fast it can happen.
I have taken up unnecessary responsibilities.
Not just because I could but because I was perceived as one that could
It all felt right until it started to go wrong.
Then,
I found you.
It became clearer the things that were meant to be.
I found us connecting like never before.
I found you popping out like a curve out of straight lines.
I found you and every notion I had before was proved wrong.
I found you and experienced genuine happiness.
I’m thankful that it is you
I’m glad you are mine.
I’m glad I found you.
I found you.

This is amazing, such beautiful rhythm, love the idea, and everything is reasonably good. Absolutely loved reading this, thank you for sharing this. And if it's from personal experience, I hope you're good and happy, and healthy♥️

While I was reading it, I imagined it being read as a spoken word... The initial verses Acapella until the first "I Found You" I can then hear the soft rhythms of jazz music whisping your voice as I envisioned your newfound happiness. Great stuff! Feels like finding love for the first time.

I Found You. New expressions, words, rythem, and new feelings while reading it. How it was expressed made me feel as if it was written for me.
Thanks for sharing and keep it up.

Thanks for liking it :) :) :tiphat:. I don't have an audio but I can make one for you. Where should I send it? Not sure audio is allowed here.

Your poem is just perfect. I love every line. And the rhymes are so on point. If you have that audio I could send you my email to send it for me. Thanks
