I FOUND YOU
I have wanted to feel love and feel loved.
Just like ‘The flu’,
I have felt what it means to be ‘on top of the world’.
I have seen change and how fast it can happen.
I have taken up unnecessary responsibilities.
Not just because I could but because I was perceived as one that could
It all felt right until it started to go wrong.
Then,
I found you.
It became clearer the things that were meant to be.
I found us connecting like never before.
I found you popping out like a curve out of straight lines.
I found you and every notion I had before was proved wrong.
I found you and experienced genuine happiness.
I’m thankful that it is you
I’m glad you are mine.
I’m glad I found you.
I found you.

The initial verses Acapella until the first "I Found You" I can then hear the soft rhythms of jazz music whisping your voice as I envisioned your newfound happiness. Great stuff! Feels like finding love for the first time.
WoW Thanks so much

Your poem is just perfect. I love every line. And the rhymes are so on point. If you have that audio I could send you my email to send it for me. Thanks
