I wish the dead

Post by Riporta »

I wish the dead could rise again.
To paint to us the picture at the point of death,
How they feel when loosing their breath,
To that being that drags out life with no pity.

I wish the dead could come back,
To give account,
How they are stranded and couldn't go back,
When they meet themselves suddenly in white attires behind the border of the living.

I wish the dead could resurrect,
To explain the mysteries in death,
Realities in it,
And the solitary in the grave.

I wish the dead could come back,
To tell us how they are being questioned,
With structured questions,
To open our eyes that after death there are more.

I wish the dead could resurrect,
To reveal the real prospects,
Of Jannam (hell) and Aljannat (paradise),
With deeds that qualify one for each.

We are being Sermonized,
In churches and Mosques,
Still,
The realities in death and grave are unbelievable through our deeds.

I wish we could see and hear the dead,
How they are willing in the grave,
Seeking second chance,
To amend their deeds.

A very good poem, with consistent wordplay throughout! A good exploration on how death is still really unknowable to us!
