Rum and Coke

One ounce of rum
Two ounces of coke and a cup of tears
You'll forever be the reason why
I'm not happy inside

A few sips of misery
And couple drops of a broken heart
I hate how you make me feel
Because I can't have you

Not a day goes by
That I don't stop myself from loving you
Why did you left me
With all the good stuff of yesterday?

I held my glass tighter
And stare at the loneliest night
My wildest dream come true
Would be a life right next to you

I'm drunk as I reminisce
The beautiful mistake we made
You were afraid to love me
Because I was never yours to start with

In my drunkenness,
I saw you standing, staring at me for afar
And I whispered that I love you
I wish you could've been my last.
