Sticks and stones
Have broken bones

Dust and dirt
Don't cause much hurt
But sneers can choke the joy.

Snow and rain
Can't cause a maim
But thoughtless deeds can cause a storm.

Words and deeds can bring more havoc than the natural elements. It seems the hurt we suffer are mostly man-made, more than that caused by nature. Deep poem.

This poem can be felt at a deeper level. I liked how you compared natural and man made things.

Yes, you are right. We should be careful to make our words tasteful enough -- just in case we have to take it back and eat it up.
