Balloon

Post by Samwisekoop »

Floating through the vast blue sky
Atmosphere is all lost to me.
I wander with the dashing winds
I glide along with those who fly.
Higher, higher I will rise
I wonder if I'll be a star
Just a couple miles high.
Galaxies seem moments away.
Until I am broken, falling from the sky.

"I glide along with those who fly.
Higher, higher I will rise
I wonder if I'll be a star"

I like this allusion to greatness, sort of a metaphor.
