(Requested by a friend as a juicy poem to give to someone, and in my count it's logged as No. 251)
Love Sonnet 251
Red roses oft remind me of your cheeks,
Bright skies, your smile's radiating golden glow,
Your song, retained I, in my mind for weeks,
A testament, love will forever grow;
Your sweet lips taste like honey of the bees,
Your eyes did whisper love in silence, loud,
Your breath is breeze sweet-scented by the trees,
Your love, bestowed, is crown, that made me proud;
And yet despite these, I crave for your touch,
To touch me with a love in tenderness,
Your caring arms give me the warmth as much,
In gentleness of fingers that caress;
So leave a kiss to last not just a day,
But seals a love that lasts eternally.
