(Requested by a friend as a juicy poem to give to someone, and in my count it's logged as No. 251)

Love Sonnet 251

Red roses oft remind me of your cheeks,
Bright skies, your smile's radiating golden glow,
Your song, retained I, in my mind for weeks,
A testament, love will forever grow;

Your sweet lips taste like honey of the bees,
Your eyes did whisper love in silence, loud,
Your breath is breeze sweet-scented by the trees,
Your love, bestowed, is crown, that made me proud;

And yet despite these, I crave for your touch,
To touch me with a love in tenderness,
Your caring arms give me the warmth as much,
In gentleness of fingers that caress;

So leave a kiss to last not just a day,
But seals a love that lasts eternally.

This is sweet! The rhyming pattern is precise and fun to read aloud. Good poem! Also, I find it impressive that you can still write a good poem based on someone other's circumstances/feelings. You have a good eye for seeing the beauty in things outside of yourself and your senses. Well done!

Wow. That was such a beautiful way to look at love.

Thanks for passing by. They say, you must teach someone how to fish, instead of just giving them fish. So here, better that they are started in perceiving love, so they could continue doing so on their on.

Thanks for passing by. There are myriad ways of perceiving love, and equally the same number of ways to express it. Stay safe.
