Cloudy on a Full Moon

I was looking forward to seeing you whole
A dash of your beam and a taste of your soul
But you were concealed by the cruel clouds above
So I have to wait another full cycle for you, my love.

For those like me who only get to see someone special
at a given time and has to wait weeks for the next.
Hang in there, our time will come

A love poem for the moon? Amazing! The idea of a love story with the moon in a symbolic sense has me wishing for more.
