"wise are we" said the children three
"no" said the wisdom people not me
"yes yes, wise are we for going astray"
how can this be why are these words so true to me



the whispers by carolyn bayles
the wind tells secrets can you hear them?
the trees tell history can you follow them?
the birds tell what no one dares to see all but me i listen i watch i see i hear i feel
all that the earth cries out for help in hear tears she shakes she mourns shes angers she rumbles
do we listen can we see do we hear are we like the bird who knows when to leave who know where to nest and where to feed. and what is best not just for me.
the earth whispers all this too me as she is beyond sorrow beyond crying and screams she whispers as her time is near and she whispers it all i can hear i can follow i can see but i do not know how to lead.
lead us humans as a race from the everlasting darkness and its embrace the last is soon to come
the last rising of the sun the last shinning of the moon the last trickling of the dew and the last whispers no one wil hear soon.
