into the carton called 'poetry' with warmth and delight.

People restore the jars of their boundless void
with cookies of heartstrings and emotions through pungent phrases and syllables joined.

People mould their beautiful, happy and innocent childhood times
into adorable layouts of free-verse stanzas or few strands of rhymes.

People alter the dreary moments of the gloomy gray clouds and skies
borrowing metaphors and paradoxes from the striking colors of butterflies.

People express their bundle of dilemmas and confessions
by combining fancy adjectives and conjunctions.

People try to mend their broken hearts
through the medium of poetry that guides them to commence new starts.

People create art with the assistance of eloquent words
that deliver broad smiles, sudden tears, and genuine comforts.

People pen down poetries connecting their epiphanies and fantasies
plucking the souls of invisible strings and singing unsung melodies.

A nice piece, though I would have preferred it brief. Most of the lines looks more of Prose...

I love the line "People try to mend their broken hearts
through the medium of poetry that guides them to
commence new starts." that's what poetry exactly does...
Using the line above, I can suggest a better structure below:


Broken hearts lives on,
To mend them we try,
But when poetry awakes,
A new start dawns.

Wow, I loved the way you formed it. So, yeah, maybe, inversion gives more elegant touch to a poetry. And about the prose thing, maybe I took some lines long, so, it might look like prose. I'll certainly see. Thanks.
