In my mind resides a sordid memory of you
In it, regret has built a cage
Around your neck, my hands were filled with rage
The anger in my heart might never age
I am stained with your filthy blood on my hands
I scour my hands daily, like a lunatic
Like a lunatic, my hands are blazing hot

How I'd look into your eyes
And my love for you just dies
Then I'd realise how time just flies
'Cause before you'd give me stomach butterflies
But after, life was just full of lies lies lies
And a whole lot of why why whys
