A New Pentecost

We are lovers of His fire
For by it we we're all born
And naturally, we love to burn
Fiery enough to set the world ablaze for Him

A renewal has come for the Renewals
It is an innudation from the supernatural
And on His coming the Father is intentional

There is a wonder from the Upper Room
That swept the earth as if with a broom
And endowed fishermen with divine abilities
To handle cheaply all human complexities

To this move all things are moveable
Causing even death to dread
And revealing the reality of the divine

This gentle breeze has broken the aged-long silence
And made the world's wise to stand akimbo
For by His piercing word of truth
The learned are questioning what they claim to have known

What a new wine on a new wineskin
A "drunkenness" for God's people
Hence, our boldness will make fear afraid
And by it all lost zeal shall be regained

This latter move will imprint on the world
An experience it will not recovered from
It is a move orchestrated by the Gentle dove
Oh serene Spirit of Truth
May this your rain forever necessitate your reign.
