As a maiden, I attended a Masquerade Ball,
When people entered the room, their name was the call.

The Queen brought her famous homemade tarts,
Which were, of course, in the shape of hearts.

There was a Rabbit who arrived quite late,
Always being late seemed to be his fate.

At midnight, playing cards in balloons fell on all,
I had a WONDERFUL time at the Masquerade Ball.

That's really cute! I like it a lot. I want to go to the Masquerade Ball!

I want to write different kinds of poetry - simple (fun thoughts), or thought-provoking, or just challenging for me to write. I'm even thinking of doing an epic poem (20 pages or more).
