Icon Worlds Unknown

Wrapped in silence,
Closed off from the world,
Yet, fully awake,
Lost in a universe unknown,

No words cross her lips,
Sweet sounds of nothing,
It’s music to the ears,
One may refuse to hear,

A sweet sigh escapes her lips,
The rustle of pages against her fingertips,
Her surroundings quiet – empty,
Her mind exploring the galaxy,

Lost to the world,
Wrapped in pleasures unknown,
Adventuring wild and free,
A world – her own.
