Love???
Love is secret;
Love is suffering,
Love is poverty;
Love is hate,
Love is death;
But what are we,
Without love?
How much can you love?
What price are you willing,
To pay for love?
Some can sell their souls,
To the devil.
Others will burn,
Even in the depths of hell,
For love.
How blind are you to love?
Some say it's not worth,
The trouble.
Some say it's a life-like illusion,
Created by lonely hearts,
To feel complete.
Others say the pain,
Of losing love,
Is overwhelming.
But would you rather,
Remain in oblivion,
For the fear of death?
Will you choose,
To live a sheltered life,
Devoid of pain and trouble?
Will a life without uncertainties,
Be worth living?
I beg to differ!
Love is trouble;
A worthwhile matter.
Love is poverty;
A fine spice to life.
Love is hate;
A two-edged sword.
Love is death;
The pinnacle of existence.
Love is blind,
Love is homeless;
Love is good,
Love is friendly;
Love is kind,
Love is gentle;
We become the best we are,
With love at heart.

And bought our pretty crowns, but never paid the price
Find me in the river, find me there
Find me on my knees with my soul laid bare

Glad you liked it. Your signature is quite interesting. It's short but deep.

It is from an old worship song called Find Me In the River by Delirious.Esther Godwin Ogechi wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 15:59Glad you liked it. Your signature is quite interesting. It's short but deep.
I mean I say old, it’s old to me (20 years or so) but young compared to some worship songs!

Good songs never grow old, especially those that speaks to the inner man. Songs from the 80's and 90's carries more weight than those written today. I actually wrote this today, inspired by today's sermon.

That is true. Does your church publish their sermons online? I’d like to check it out.Esther Godwin Ogechi wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 16:15Good songs never grow old, especially those that speaks to the inner man.
