The End

Darkness engulfs the earth,
As the sun fades away,
All life bids adieu,
The end of the world at play.
The trees stand bereft of leaves,
The flowers don't bloom anymore,
The creatures no longer stir,
Only silence at the core.
The skies have lost their color,
The stars don't shine so bright,
The moon is but a memory,
All that's left is the endless night.
The sea has lost its waves,
The rivers have become still,
The world that we once knew,
Is now but a memory, nil.
No more laughter, no more joy,
Only tears of sorrow remain,
Death has claimed all life,
Leaving behind a world in pain.
The emptiness stretches forth,
As far as the eye can see,
A soulless world, deathly,
Where nothing else can be.
This is the fate of all that lives,
This is the end that we'll meet,
When life can breathe no more,
Death and darkness shall weep.
As the sun fades away,
All life bids adieu,
The end of the world at play.
The trees stand bereft of leaves,
The flowers don't bloom anymore,
The creatures no longer stir,
Only silence at the core.
The skies have lost their color,
The stars don't shine so bright,
The moon is but a memory,
All that's left is the endless night.
The sea has lost its waves,
The rivers have become still,
The world that we once knew,
Is now but a memory, nil.
No more laughter, no more joy,
Only tears of sorrow remain,
Death has claimed all life,
Leaving behind a world in pain.
The emptiness stretches forth,
As far as the eye can see,
A soulless world, deathly,
Where nothing else can be.
This is the fate of all that lives,
This is the end that we'll meet,
When life can breathe no more,
Death and darkness shall weep.
