THE BEST OF ME

Sometimes I feel like I don't give you enough credit
You are the greatest of all time in your own respect
You are the best I've witnessed there's more to come from you
You outshine yourself every now and then
You are your own competition and you put up quite a show
I adore your strength, your personality amuses me
Whoever said giants only come in large sizes hadn't met you yet
You are a majestic being
I've seen the way you carry yourself in the face of adversary
The way you face challenges and how you handle defeat
In the face of adversary you show courage
When challenges come you show bravery
And in defeat you never lower your head you look it straight in the eye
One way or another you always get up
You are a fighter
The best gladiator
Your work ethic is outstanding
A full package
A lover, a friend and a family person
Others may not see you
I see you all the time
In time the world will witness you
And even if it wouldn't
You will always be the best of me.
