Wonders

as I gaze at the vastness of the sky,
a multitude of anxious thoughts vanishes.
as I set my eyes on the heavens above
it never fails to leave me astounded

the moon heeds for hours of silence
when I'm on the rooftop until midnight,
where solitude offers peace,
and the clamor of this world vanquished.

the stars teach me to remain focused
that when I begin to count them one by one
they start to exhibit and I'm outnumbered
the same scenario with my blessings

behind clouds exist magnificent creations
maybe I should wait more patiently
and let time uncovers what I seek for
to satisfy my heart's desires

the firmament sends drops of rain
to wipe the tears racing down my face
to conceal the tormented, broken spirit
and dance with the rhythm of rainfall

the sun smiles while looking at me from afar
it radiates gloriously in the daytime.
it caresses every inch of my skin
and envelops me with its rays.
