I opened the windows
In came a wizard dressed in blue robe
I was shocked by his garb
It had yellow stars and shapes like shadows
I asked him what business he has here
Coming in my room through the window
He was silent, a pause gesture he showed
He started searching for something
But wouldn't care to talk two words or more
He stopped searching and
Stepped closer to the desk
He jumped on top of it
Standing on tiptoes, he reached for the ceiling
I ran to support him
I couldn't bear to see him fall
I waited for him to finish his actions
He then relaxed as soon as he found what he wanted
I helped him get down
He showed me his dazzling smile
I smiled in response
He showed me what he held
It was a tiny rose bud
He pulled my hand and gave it to me
And just like that, he was gone without a peep
I didn't think more
All I could see was a tiny rose
I like flowers, you see
So I did what I did best
I took the best care of it and waited
I waited for it to grow
And when it blossomed and bloomed
The entire room smelled of roses.
