If I were the 'standard'

Accepting myself, as I am, was the hardest.
People only spot flaws for a comment
You know why?
It is because someone else was the reference.
But, if I were the ‘standard’ if I were the ‘perfect’
How far can they reach? Who do you think will fit?
 
No one, could handle the strength and weakness in me.
If 'beauty' were me, they would’ve been pretty or not good looking.
I am clever, I work hard, so that could make them lazy or brilliant.
 
Let’s say, I am the real image of fool and silly. What would they be?
I give, I’m generous; that will make them stingy or philanthropist.
Smiling is what I do. They’re probably laughing or frowning.
They call me grudger. So, are they forgiver?
I’m a lover. I understand people’s feelings, do they?
I’m an example of strong. They're either weak or fierce.
I break rules and protocols though they’re formal.
But don’t forget, no matter what, I’m the ‘normal’
 
Anyways,
I’m not a ‘standard’...I’m not the ‘perfect’.
But I am telling myself,
I am proud of me!
I am proud!... because I am unique for my kind.
