Lament
Must human stuff have its only home
In flesh, blood and bone?
What's to bar that it reside in light?
Electrons in their flight are
Thought's swifter messengers (by far)
Than blood
Which at fastest flow only seeps
And to its channeled courses keeps
And never leaps the chasm 'twixt bliss and protoplasm.

Nice work! A poem which begs a profound question ... perhaps THE most profound.
