Don't Toot!

Post by Junior Jackson »

Don't Toot!

When you’re sitting in the classroom
Your friends may think it’s cute
But your teacher will be annoyed
If you decide to toot!

Tighten your cheeks and hold it in
Or think of mowing the lawn
Hold your breath and straighten your legs
‘Til the urge to blow gas is gone.

You may start to sweat
You may even cry
You might wish to be somewhere else
Unless your shorts stay dry.

It could have been the beans you ate
Or perhaps it was the dairy
But fight to keep that toot inside
‘Cause lettin’ go is scary.

And toots don’t smell like roses, ya know
Quite the opposite, in fact
You better hold that toot at bay
To keep your britches intact

Consider those around you
Who appreciate clean air
Do you want to go and toxify it?
Is that really fair?

Staring at the clock won’t help
What’s meant to be will be
It’s human nature after all
So…maybe, just maybe…it might just be…a little funny.

On second thought, let it rip!!!
Blow the posters off the wall
Bring that toot into the world
Let them hear it from the hall!
