Flowers of Deception:
Rich as blood,
Lush like wine,
Its moisture smooth cream,
Bewitching to the eye,
Just as of love,
You draw toward it,
Nimbly pulling at stalk,
Grazing frail arrow heads,
Then it intercepts,
Digging through skin,
Plunging through flesh,
Drowning in gore,
Aghast, you pull back,
Drawing finger,
Scarlet descending,
Shunting the blood flower behind.
