Poem "under rocks"

Post by Jason Tooke »

In one of the writing forums here someone asked about the time of day you like to write and after answering it stuck with me the feeling of being awake so early writing. So I wrote a poem about it. its my first poem so I would love any feedback

Under rocks, and this is when
A realm unseen by eyes of men.
In nature's grasp, secrets unwind,
In shadows cast, thoughts unconfined

In private spaces, where silence dwells,
shadows dance, and secrets swell,
I like to write away from sight,
In nebulous regions, where day meets night,

Each line a step, toward the day,
Where colors bloom and doubts decay,
The space between the words unveils,
As time erases truths and tales

And when in victory the sun will break
The light past glass my mind awake
As sun ascends and the world reborn,
New scents and sights of a day unworn
