hermit crabs don't get nearly enough credit
lugging around everything they are everyday
imagine Sunday strolls!
my soul is heavy enough and my body barely a shell but oddly enough weight is not wholly scientific
a Sunday stroll around my bones would find them sound so what rattles in my chest?
we are all hermit crabs, our world just the rocks we crawl on
leaving a slime trail to prove we exist
why do we pretend that our possessions belong to anyone but the sun?
