Ponds
i wonder when fish
wake in the morning
and stretch their fins,
when does the day provide
a chance for adventure?
The Carp
I found a carp, sunbathing in the shallows.
His golden scales looked warm and shined like embers
That seemed to be smoldering underwater...
I thought a star had fallen from the sky,
And landed in the pond, and molten still.
I Settle
like the water of a river,
i settle in the places meant to be
Cherry-Blossom Sun
she hides in the woods,
he peeks through leaves and limbs,
cherry-blossom sun
Impressions
open
the horizon,
impressions felt
between earth and sky
The Passing Clouds
the clouds passed by,
the wind carried them softly
and rounded them out
I Listen
i listen to the peace,
each breath is here
Laughing
laughter is fun,
breaths and hearts at play
like lambs or fawns
light in the hoofs
You Words Are Love
Your words are love
and open the way
to fall in your arms
half asleep
slow morning,
half asleep seems easy,
and i refuse to
read the news,
because
i'd rather be
half asleep
forever
(fevered)
i wonder when fish
wake in the morning
and stretch their fins,
when does the day provide
a chance for adventure?
