When I think of You
I feel pure joy
Because You love me
Unconditionally
You created me
Knowing in advance
Who you wanted me
To be
You have a plan
For my life
You have always
Been there for me
Even when I
Did not know it
Or thought you
Were not
Or simply just
Somehow forgot
I pray to You
Regularly
And constantly ask
For Your guidance
In my life
I love and need You
So very much
Since life
Has been difficult
And I never know
What curveballs
It will throw at me
Without You
I would be lost
With You
I am found
Thank You Lord
For being You
And for accepting me
As I am
With all my faults
And for giving me
Gifts that I can use
For Your glory and honor
And for the
Pure joy
Of others and myself
I do not know
What the future
Has in store for me
But I know that
You do
And You will
Help me through
And that someday
I will be
The person You
Created me
To be.
