Moments

How I long
To be able
To take their sweet kisses
Fierce hugs
Childish giggles
And place them
Carefully
Between the leaves of a book
Pressing them gently
Like wildflowers
From a summer meadow
Holding them
Still
So years from now
When all is quiet
I can open those pages
Send them tumbling
Into my palms
And hold those moments
Again
