Our Meeting Spot

I stare at the old worn out sign board
That hasn't changed much since ages;
Though the shop has newer look and
Customers flow in and out a lot more.

The spot remains same as my memory
Our meeting spot, a secret sweet shop;
One pastry cut into two equal halves
Savoring it along with our braided talks.

Now that I see you with a new blonde
Sitting at our usual seat, I feel not good;
Not jealous for she is there with you,
But disappointed in your silence at me.

The spot is no more ours to speak of,
And no more of 'us' to meet along with;
I am happy that you are smiling with her
Yet you could have severed us with truth.
