Little ride of love

Post by Clarissa »

i'm on a little maybe ride of love
tiny and scared of the rush
i think i fell in love with a hurricane
it picks me up and dances with me in the rain
the little maybe ride of reckless grace
the little maybe ride of a loveless chase

Very nice! Sounds like song lyrics. [:- )

The line, "i think i fell in love with a hurricane it picks me up and dances with me in the rain" is phenomenal. I love the image it painted as I was reading this poem. I read it over and over and the more I read it the more I could see what you were bringing to life on the page. I would emphasize at the beginning of the poem where you connect "little" and "maybe," but that might be because of how I read it and interpreted it. All in all it paints a picture that everyone can relate to in life through various relationships and it's wonderful!
