I wrote this today. Let me know what you think! :)

The Soulless Egg and the Infinitely Thin Shell

I delegate my thoughts to the page
So that my mind may know peace

I cut my wrists open and bleed
my soul
into the sheets of my art and books
So what's left will be called soulless

To be the most of something
is, sometimes, to be the least

Show me someone who does a little
And you've shown me someone
who's not an addict
Show me someone who does none
And that's a very different story

Sometimes we speak just to find the silence
Throw away all the words until there's nothing left

I'd cry but my tears have been all used up
I'm dry, as dry as water that can't get wet
I feel nothing
because I feel so much
I'm all felt up
I feel everything
The cup's filled up
A frozen computer
Delete it
Drain it
Forget it, if you must
I feel all too much
An egg that cracked itself open
And spilled its guts
Into the frying pan
So it may float away
Clean and quiet
Into the sky
Into the stars
Into the space
From which nothing comes back
Because everything is shed
to get there
Until your shell is so thin and quiet and peaceful
That even it is nothing

The beautifully thin boundary of everything is nothing
And all is held in this beautiful bosom of nothingness
Every yin and yang and all things
and even thinghood itself
Held
Cherished
In the beautiful bosom of nothingness

And people say, "come back to me, Nothingness; come back!"
And it does.
Nothing comes back.
And the people still say, "come back to me, Nothingness; come back."

This is thought-provoking. The line come back to me, Nothingness; come back!" struck a chord.

'The beautifully thin boundary of everything is nothing. And all is held in this beautiful thin bosom of nothingness.' I like how you interweave philosophy into life, especially the imagery of an egg. A great opportunity for us to learn your philosophy of life!
