One of the biggest challenges is walking in your truth.
Uniquely and beautifully made you are powerful;
Your past doesn’t define you - it only shapes you
Your present isn’t an indicator of your destiny so stop stressing it
Tomorrow isn’t promised so today I ask that you walk in your truth.
Days are numbered so be you,
Don’t waste your time trying to impress anyone
Because when it’s truly said and done
When you stare at yourself in the mirror- you know the truth
When it’s all said and done the only opinion that truly matters is that of your own
When it’s said and have no regrets
So as I stated before walk in it and the rest will fall into place
If words are placed in your heart let them flow out through your tongue
If an urge is placed in your spirit, let it be carried out in your flesh
Walk in your truth for the plan is to prosper you and not harm you
No one can tell if you are walking your walk
You will be loved and accepted
No longer ridiculed and rejected
Hold on to the uniquely and beautifully made you
You are powerful but most importantly you are enough

This is very thought provoking. The references to Christian scriptures make it seem quite valid advice but at the same time I think this poem fails to indicate that your truth is subject to the Truth that comes from God. I think it all has to do with expression. Truth is singular and has a name (Christ Jesus).

To me this poem is saying that walking in your truth is walking in the path that God set for you; a lot of people may not see the road you walk on and criticize your walk but that's cool. Press on. I like this poem.
